Environment Project Management

BReTCAT

Building Resilience Through Climate Adaptation Technologies (BReTCAT) is a 36-month project, executed by the Caribbean Climate Innovation Center (Jamaica), Resurgence (UK) and The Meteorological Service of Jamaica;

primarily funded by the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) with subsequent funding from WMO CREWS, Caribbean Development Bank and Climate-KIC. BReTCAT was designed to assist the Meteorological service of Jamaica to develop its products and services in a format that the content is easily understood and can be acted on by all its stakeholders.
This is achieved through localizing the forecasting language, improving visuals and expanding the line of weather forecasting offerings by the Meteorological Service.
